When not in this office, she works with a specialist in periodontics and dental implants. That experience helps her patients in this office.

“I chose dentistry because I understand how frightening it can be. I had a bad experience as a child, as so many people do. I want to show my patients that the dental chair doesn’t have to be a scary or painful place,” Sarah says. “Believe it or not, patients who are anxious or apprehensive are my favorite. I make it my goal every day to change their negative perspective of the dental office.”

Sarah’s favorite oral health care tip is classic: Never go to bed without brushing and flossing. She even suggests keeping floss in your bedside table so there are no excuses.
